A short review of the Dunkin Donuts Coupons


I’m starting to think I’ve tried every bakery and donut shop in Jacksonville. Knock Knock…”who’s there?”…”oh, it’s you early onset diabetes”…”come on in”. I think I am going to need to do a review on a personal trainer soon. Check out my Dunkin Donuts Restaurant Review below:


Food: My mission: to try out some of their sandwiches. I mean everyone goes to Dunkin’ Donuts for their donuts and coffee right? So I won’t touch on that much in this restaurant review. I do have one comment on a donut though. I tried their new “cherry donut”. Now, when it comes to ordering donuts, I would normally skip right over a cherry donut. But I did try this one and it was really good. It is in the picture below, the only donut picture. I was worried that the cherry would be overpowering but it was very subtle, I really liked it. Now, on to the sandwiches.

First up, the Angus Steak & Egg sandwich. It’s served on a toasted onion bagel but that isn’t the flavor that caught my attention.

The “Angus Steak” (is all steak Angus steak now? Seems like everyone says they serve it…I’m betting someone just names the cow Angus…thus it’s Angus Steak…stupid loopholes) actually tasted like sausage and I’m not a breakfast sausage fan. I’m guessing they cook it on the same surface or whatever as the sausage. Needless to say, I wasn’t a fan. One of the sandwiches that I did like was the new Ham & Cheese Bakery Sandwich which features Black Forest Ham, white cheddar cheese and Creamy Dijon sauce on a French roll.


This and the Turkey, Cheddar & Bacon Bakery Sandwich (this has Ancho Chipotle sauce instead) were very tasty. If you don’t think you will like it on a French roll, you can have it on a bagel or croissant instead. These were pretty good and I like that there is something more hearty and not so sugary to get for breakfast.

The last thing I tried was their new Artichoke Spinach Cream Cheese on a bagel. Is Artichoke Spinach the new “black”? It’s on every menu in one shape or form now…from appetizers, to spreads, to pastas. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and I liked this cream cheese. Extras: They also are jumping on the good ole southern train and they have their version of 0.99 large iced tea. McDonald’s probably already has the market share of the iced tea in that price range but good on Dunkin Donuts for giving it a shot. The tea is actually pretty good and the one thing you can do at Dunkin is you can add shots of flavor to it. TAKE THAT MCDONALDS!!! Oh, yeah…in your face! Back on topic….the one thing to take from this review is that there are more than just donuts here and some of the sandwiches are pretty good. If you try the steak and egg one, leave me a comment and let me know if yours tasted like sausage instead. I’m wondering if it’s just me.

The Good:

A lot of options besides just donuts
The iced tea gives you just one more incentive to try them out
The cherry donut is really good and moist
The Bad:

The “Angus Steak” tastes more like “Angus Sausage”
I forgot to tell you, but they did away with their flatbread sandwiches because “people down south don’t know what that is”.
